ITALY, Ligurian Sea • You are driving to the sea? Take along an lock of love... :-) CinqueTerre (“Five Lands”) is a cluster of five fishing villages perched atop the steep hills on the coast of Italy’s Ligurian Sea. No cars, no modern constructions – just sheer old world charms! The villages are connected by ferries, trains and networks of breathtaking hiking trails. More lovelocks that were scattered all over the trail. • Some of the lovelocks on the Via dell’ Amore. Lovers write their names on the padlocks and secure them along the trail to “lock in their love forever.”
HUNGARY, the city of Pecs. Special design for love. :-) Locks of Love are legal :-) We'll go to Hungary! :-)
LOCK OF LOVE IN PRAGUE. Photos taken this week show men removing love locks from the Charles Bridge in Prague with bolt cutters and pliers. According to the report, the Charles Bridge Artists Association (which aims to "help maintain and restore the bridge"), removes about 30 pounds of locks from the bridge every two weeks. We don't know what they do with the buckets and buckets of hand-inscribed tokens, but we really, REALLY don't want to imagine them getting thrown in a dumpster. It would be just too sad.:-( What do you think about it?
